Washington’s State Energy Efficiency Appliance Rebate Program, popularly known as “Cash for Appliances,” is scheduled to start in February 2010.
Under the program, Washington residents who buy new, energy efficient appliances are eligible for rebates. A total of $6,283,775 is available.

- Refrigerators (must be 25 percent more efficient than the federal minimum standard) -- $75
- Clothes Washers (must have an efficiency rating MEF greater than 2.46) -- $100
