Pre-orders for the Metal Gear Solid 4 Limited Edition PLAYSTATION 3 Bundle begin today, exclusively at Konami.com. If you haven't picked up a PLAYSTATION 3 or are a Metal Gear collector, you'll want to check out this link today for pre-ordering. No word on what time it will be available. The bundle will go for $599.99 (yup, limited editions come at an extra price).
What's included in the Metal Gear Solid 4 Limited Edition PLAYSTATION 3 Bundle:
- Gun Metal Gray PLAYSTATION 3 system with a 40GB hard drive
- Gun Metal Gray DUALSHOCK 3 wireless controller
- Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Limited Edition game
For some reason, the posting of the bundle on the PlayStation Blog has been deleted, but here's a bit of text from it:
"Pre-orders for the bundle will begin on Monday May 19th, 2008, and again, is in very limited supply. Only one per customer. We will be releasing limited quantities of stock day to day until completely sold out, so for notices about stock availability please stay tuned right here on the PS Blog and at Konami.com!"

This is the worst marketing move i ever saw....or maybe a good one...maybe it is their plan to boost the 80 gig sales...That is the one i want anyway. The 8o has backwards compatibility it's a no brainer. | Duh, what do you expect?

It comes with mgs4 and a dualshock 3, plus custom colors for ps3 and controller. Just the game and controller would take a 399 40g over 500, not to mention its limited edition. | syah

I just pre ordered one yesterday. They've already charged my credit card and eveything. I just went to check out Konami.com today and they say they are out of pre-orders at the moment. I think I got lucky. |
