Pullman residents debate proposed plastic bag fee among other issues at meeting


It was a packed house at the Pullman City Council meeting Tuesday night. Most came to hear and discuss a possible 20 cent fee for plastic bags dispensed at retail stores in town.

Elizabeth Siler organized the “Bring Your Own Bag Pullman!” campaign, collecting the signatures of 131 Pullman residents since April.
