  • No diaper can contain my 9mo old's poop. Since 5mo, he has back poop with every dirty diaper and at least once a day, he soils his clothes. I have tried Huggies, Pampers, different types of each and different sizes but no luck. Anyone else ever have this problem and find a solution? Or am I stuck with this till he is potty trained?

    • my girlfriend was like you. Every single day her kids were pooping on their clothing. THEN I noticed she really didn't do a great job putting the pamper on. I put them pamper on her son one evening and he woke up dry. She then realized it was her technique. She never had an accident again

      • op: he is my 2nd and I never had this problem with my 1st so I dont think it's how I put it on. It happens whenever dh or aneyone else watching him changes his diapers too.

    • So they still make the old fashioned plastic training pants we used to put over cloth diapers? Buy some and put over diaper and see if it helps

      • op: lol! I mentioned it to the ped and she laughed and said that he is a big boy with big poops. I guess some kids just have more volume!

        • I had a peanut of a little girl and we always joked that once I stopped food was added to nursing, she pooped like a truck driver. It seems the size of the kid isn't the only contributor! We also used plastic overpants and toilet training very early. GL

    • Don't go by the weight chart on the box. Try going up a size and see if that helps - helped my DD and me! GL!

    • I suggest two diapers, one in his size, and a second in the next size up on top. GL
