    i hate real RTS on consols too, but i dono... its halo... microsoft gameeeez studio... if anyone can pull it offf.. its them

    My biggest problem is with the controls...Im just not a fan of RTS on consoles.

    Both Halo and Crysis are great, lets not get into it. Halo's universe cannot be challenged though, not even by Gears of War which is pretty amazing if youve read the book Aspho Fields.

    Anyone know if you can play this without a mike? My brother-in-law was told that you can't play it without going online with a headset. Is that the only way you can play it?

    Only can RTS games play better on PC, it 'll lost on console.

    Looks really fun, and ive played part of the demo...... but i keep getting an error telling me the disc is unreadable for the demo..... i mean... wtf??!?
    can't wait for real thing tho, looks fricken great.

    awesome demo it was great and to eunicom the rb button is to just do units on the screen and i wish there was a way to make groups thats ussually my tactic but its still fun also to pauldixon i agree who is doing the patches and dlc i wanna c the flood

    Game is awesome and as for The_Warhammer, the 360 is in no way a cheap machine. I have never owned a console yet that has had this many games of AAA rating. Mine plays the well. I bought mine day one and it is still running. Check my gamer score and you can see I have played the crap out of it. By the way have 2 kids, one is 13 and the boy is 18. It's been used like crazy. If it's cheap, then sign me up for cheap.

    Ya game looks great, boo for 360 only, it sucks, and I am never buying a 360 that thing is pure cheapness right there.

    I believe pressing the right bumper selects any unit in your view.

    First game was Age of Empires II, second game was Halo (yes,there is a huge gap, but it's true). Now my two favourites combine. Awesome! Demo was really fun, can't believe the quality of graphics. Just can't wait for the real game to come out.

    the demo helps to whet your appetite for the game. i do think that some of the controls need help - like why can't you only pick the units that's in your view?, and how do you create groups? the tutorial doesn't walk you through that. the cinematics do look awesome. just have to wait and see what it's really like once it comes out.

    I downloaded the demo on Xbox live yesterday, played the first two levels on Heroic in about an hour; reminds me something like Mech Commander. Unfortunately, I find nothing really spectacular as too game play or controls, but the Cinematic is awesome especially in HD; the story line is good, as would be expected; it was preempted by the original Halo franchise. All in all, I would say this is average. Multi Level is not available in the demo I downloaded. Waiting for ODST.

    The demo is good. The tutorials are well designed too. I did think that the demo was rather short though. Graphics are awesome and the controls are the best console RTS controls I've tried so far. I'm a big fan of the "hold A, and get the big blue circle to select multiple units but not all"

    *what do I need to build if I keep getting the "Your at maximum number" for building more units? I couldn't build any cobras cause I was always at the maximum number of units.

    I think command and conquer 3 had better controls but these work just fine. The gameplay is also better than I thought it was going to be, I think it's worth a buy. Keep in mind that I'm a big FPS fan as well as an RTS fan.

    Been playing the demo for about 6hrs completed the campaign level and two skirmish on easy and normal. Now i'm an avid fan of pc rts COH is my best game. This is on a par with that the controls take some getting used to, not using a keyboard and mouse. But i think they have nailed the controls as best they could using a control pad.

    This is the "dogs ####ocks" as far as console rts there are some really good a.i. for attack formation using hit and run tactics flamer units going in for the kill whilst odst troopers hold back and medium range targets.

    Really Awesome. Anyone know now that ensemble has basically packed up shop what about updates, patches and dlc in the future who's doing that???????

    Awesome game, it definitely looks promising. However I would like to see if Bungie can bring Halo in this new way, stepping back from the FPS.
