Australian Open Employment

Tennis Australia employs a variety of casual staff & volunteers to work during the Australian Open. Some tournament positions include;

Please note that due to the large number of returning staff each year, vacancies in some of the above areas may be limited.

Applicants that apply for employment with Tennis Australia during Australian Open 2010 must be Australian Citizens or hold a valid Work Visa, as advised by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.

Applicants must have unrestricted availability over the tournament period (18 January – 31 January 2010, Qualifying 13 January – 16 January), and be able to commit to attending compulsory training sessions and inductions held at various times throughout the year, prior to the commencement of official duties.

Employment applications for Australian Open 2009 have closed. Information regarding employment procedures for Australian Open 2010 are as follows:

New applicants and tournament staff members from Australian Open 2009 will be required to visit this section of the Australian Open web site from Friday 1st May to Sunday 31st May 2009, to submit an employment application via our online system.
