  3. What does 'Renewing the Evangelical Centre' mean?

    It deliberately has two meanings: Fulcrum aims to renew the moderate centre of the evangelical tradition in the Church of England and also to renew the centre of the Church of England which is historically, and again currently, evangelical. For further elucidation, click here

  4. Who are on the leadership team of Fulcrum?

    See the members of the leadership team, by clicking on the home page menu 'leadership'.

  5. What are the easiest ways to navigate the Fulcrum site?

    For the latest articles, see the 'latest additions' on the home page.

    For the subject index, click 'index' on the second line of the home page menu. This brings up the hyperlinked subject index page. Click on a subject (eg Anglicanism, Windsor Process) and all the hyperlinks to articles on that subject come up. Then click on an article. Also you can click on the subject index at the top of each article.

    For other articles by a particular author, click on the hyperlink at the top of each article eg 'other articles by Tom Wright', and this will bring up eg the following author page.

    We are working on a separate 'author index' page and on improving the search facility.

  6. How can I register with Fulcrum to receive regular news?

    For email news of new Fulcrum articles, click the 'feedback/contact' link on the home page, which brings up this page.

    For email news of current items on Fulcrum Newswatch, click on the orange (RSS 'web feed') symbol on the Newswatch page.

  8. How can I put my name, rather than my user number, automatically at the top of my comments on the Fulcrum forum threads?

    1. click on top right in the menu 'my account'

    2. click on edit name

    3. click on forum nickname

    4. type in your name - we very much encourage real names rather than nick names...

  9. How can I copy a web address of a particular page into my comment on a Fulcrum forum thread?

    There two methods:

    1. Copying full address

      1. click on web address in the panel at very top of a web page

      2. highlight and copy that address

      3. click on your comment and paste into your comment.

    2. Hyperlinking a word into the web address (more fun and neater)

      1. click on web address in the panel at very top of a web page

      2. highlight and copy that address

      3. highlight the word in your comment which you wish to carry the hyperlink

      4. click on the 'globe/chain link' logo in top line of the comment box, next to the 'justify both margins' logo

      5. paste the web address into that box and click OK.

  10. Does Fulcrum have a journal?

    The web site is an online journal. Those who would like to submit articles may email the theological secretary, Graham Kings (theology@fulcrum-anglican.org.uk). The ethos of Anvil and of Grove Books is very similar to the ethos of Fulcrum and the editor of Anvil and the Managing Director of Grove Books are both part of the leadership team.
