PopMatters
At any rate, having jabbed at indie success and scored at least one good hit, the band and its sole record--comprising just over twenty minutes of music--will surely be remembered for its insistent, unselfconscious songs as well as its endless playability.

All Music Guide
It's painful that this will be the only Royal We record ever. Many of the band's members moved on to other quite good bands (Sexy Kids, Bricolage, Correcto), but the chemistry they had as the Royal We will be hard to replicate.
60
Dusted Magazine
There’s charm here, but it’s mostly second-hand, photos from a party you didn’t go to.
60
Hot Press
This slight, shrill and, ultimately, underwhelming debut album has its moments.
60
New Musical Express
This is clever, girl-led guitar pop.
