Description: Kids learn about the family of percussion instruments, which is anything you can scrape, shake or strike to produce a sound. The group will play a variety of traditional percussion instruments such as marimba, xylophone, rope drum, drumset, bongos and djembe, just to name a few. In addition, the group will play some not so standard percussion instruments. Kids can attend an instrument building workshop prior to the performance.
