Flushing Town Hall offers a six-week Summer Performing Arts Academy for students in grades 4-12. The program includes study in drama, voice, and dance with a typical day including 90-minute sessions in each discipline. Students will work in a creative environment led by distinguished educators and theater professionals. Enrollment is limited to 40 students, and students are assigned to groups based on age and level of experience. Enrichment seminars will be presented by special guest artists who help students explore careers in the arts. The program includes a Broadway show field trip with a behind the scenes visit with the cast, and culminates with a theatrical production for families and friends on August 16 at 7:30 p.m.
