Confused? Here's what happened (look for the numbers in the comic and compare):
- Tedd is magically lifted up into the air. There is a reverse gravity effect pushed his hair and outfit upwards.
- Tedd's hair lengthens and turns blonde.
- The female transformation begins...
- ...continues...
- ...and is complete. At this point. Tedd is a blonde girl with long hair and a little bit of makeup.
- Tedd's shirt begins to morph in an upward motion towards the neck.
- The transformation of the shirt continues, and has reached a point that leaves Tedd momentarily indecent ^^;
- The shirt has become a collar.
- Now the pants are starting to morph...
- ...and become a lacey black dress.
- While the other clothing morphs were going on, Tedd's shoes became black platform boots, and the socks became striped leggings. Additional makeup has been added (i.e. lipstick).
- The sleeves seperate and become... well, I don't know what to call those. Whatever winds up on Tedd's arms, that's what they become.
- The right sleeve morphs after the left, and the remainder of the jacket morphs into two seperate black, lacey scrunchies.
- The transformation is complete... unless she insists on insulting me more. Then it will likely continue ^_^
There actually IS an artwork concern, actually, and that's whether to switch to a portrait (vertical) format for the main comic. There's a LOT more freedom in portrait mode and half the time I'm delayed the fact that I have to work around the landscape (horizontal) format is a factor. The primary two reasons NOT to switch to portrait is that people are used to EGS in landscape by now, and future book formats would have to change in order for the two versions to work together. It's something I'm seriously considering, however. Aside from those two points, everything about portrait seems better for a comic like EGS than landscape.
I fully welcome people's opinions on this, particularly if you're in favor of the portrait mode. I'm aware that it sounds like I'm saying that I primarily want to hear from those who agree with me, but there's a different motive. If enough people think it's a worthwhile change, it will be easier for me to convince the higher ups that an enlarged book format (so as to accomodate both formats) is a good idea.
That said, I would certainly be curious about pros regarding landscape beyond what I've stated. I honestly can't think of any worthwhile reason to stick with landscape beyond those ^^;
