Liminal Connector (Portland Whitbed) - Deveren Bowman
Liminal Connector is one of a series of five site specific works to be placed around the coast of England and Scotland. The view through the Connector focuses the eye on the horizon leading to associations beyond immediate reality. Similarly, from the sea, the work allows access to previous realities. Three of the pieces have been completed and will be on view at the City & Guilds of London Art School during the MA Fine Art Degree Show. Following the Show, they will return to their respective coastal locations.

Found Lost Found - Stacie McCormick
Stacie is an urban beachcomber. Found Lost Found is a result of collecting whilst on walks throughout London. This is a two-part sculpture consisting of two sets of 50 urban relics. One set will be showing in its entirety and from Monday July 30th each piece of the second set will be replaced where it was originally found (or lost).
Each relic is collected and photographed on two sheets of glass above a light box in the studio so that the object is removed from any background or context. The photographic transparency is then enclosed in an aluminium specimen case. The lost set is labelled ART if found return to S. McCormick, 124 Kennington Park Road, SW11 4DJ. The replacement of the Forgotten set will be documented and an empty plinth will await its possible return.

Untitled (Detail) - Jo-Anne Beaudoin
The work borders between abstraction and figuration depicting an event, moment or place. Through the elements of time and space, the paintings evolve out of the paint leaving traces of this history in its conclusion.

Untitled - Yukako Shibata
When objects sit on a mirror they appear to be almost floating - the three spheres become weightless. The choice of colours relates to flowers, fruits and the natural environment around us. Using a shelf to present the work suggests the ephemeral qualities of life in general.
