Pros: As is none. There was a time when Bearshare was about as good as it got but no more.
Cons: Full of spyware and what you download cannot be burned in a program like Nero because the mp3 file is saved as a special Bearshare file. Instead of a music icon, you will have a bearshare icon which will "ONLY" play on your computer and will not work in your CD creation software. What use is the program then? I download to burn not just to sit at the computer and listen.
I'd give it no stars if I could. Don't bother.
Pros: None.
Cons: The music files are .wma's or special bearshare files therefore will not burn, create CD, NOR play on mp3 players. The program is simply now for music and videos and nothing else.
It's said to be free but will always have an "upgrade now" popup. If you do not upgrade, it will not do anything else. It also lacks the download of programs/documents/images. Don't waste your time. It has ads and spyware anyways. I'd say the old version would have been better.
Complete waste of time- go back to the older version.
Pros: I like nothing about this product. It is limited in its functions. With out a doubt the most confusing worthless interface I have seen so far.
Cons: This new version is ugly and usless. Nothing is clear on how to use this interface. No longer point and click. Now all I can do is just stare at the screen and wonder how to use it.

Cons: lime has hidden spyware and viruses, very dangerous - Bearshare is 10 times worst, do the math. It delivers nothing it promises, is stuffed full of ads, and is constanly asking for money/upgrades - if you dont comply, it simply dont work. it tried to sneak into my personal files, but my spysweeper security system droped them dead in their tracks- beware of this download - lime too
