SEATTLE, April 27, 2007 -- The Boeing Company and launch customer Lion Air today celebrated the delivery of the first Next-Generation 737-900ER (Extended Range) airplane. The airplane was delivered in a special dual paint scheme that combines the Lion Air lion on the vertical stabilizer and the Boeing livery colors on the fuselage. Czech Travel Service orders Boeing 787 Dreamliner
The Boeing Company announced on March, 28, that Travel Service, a Prague-based charter carrier, ordered one Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, and holds purchase rights for one more. The airline is increasing its efficiency in the long-haul charter market by offering direct flights to holiday destinations. The order is valued at $153 million at list prices. Czech Airlines Receives its First Airbus A319
Czech Airlines (CSA) has just received its first Airbus A319 type aircraft. The plane, which was received by CSA's technicians from its manufacturer in Hamburg, Germany, landed in Prague on Thursday , March 8, painted with CSA's colors. A study by OAG, the British travel information company, highlights the world's busiest route. Flights between Barcelona and Madrid are topping the list with around 920 flights a week.
