100 GREATEST KIDS' TV SHOWS

Of all the 100 Greatests that have been made perhaps this is the most nostalgic of the lot. TV grabs us while we're young and impressionable and then has us singing the theme tune to White Horses for the rest of our lives.

From cartoons to dramas, comedy shows to factual programmes, quizzes to glove puppets, we pay tribute to the TV makers who had us transfixed in front of the telly from the Fifties to present day.

Surprisingly, we discovered that there's as much sex, drugs and rock'n'roll in the history of children's telly as there is in real life. The programme makers could have got away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids!
