This is an area I have not had the time to experiment with yet and at the moment I cannot make any cobs myself. Fortunately there are lots of people out there who have and are happy to share them. The ones on this page are ones I have found useful and I have credited the people who have made them - where someone is not credited it is not my work it's just I haven't found out who made it yet!

If there is credit missing and you know who made it (this will be checked) please e mail me and let me know who they are and their homepage address. As I have said before If you see any of your work on my homepage and you object to it being here please e-mail me and it will be removed or modified as you require.

These files are zipped Get a copy of winzip - there is a free 'evaluation' version. Click on download to download the relevant cob. I am slowly making all the winzip files self extracting.

For those of you just starting Creatures 2 make sure you get the updated egg pack (improved survival abilities) and the object packs from the Creatures Site as they are invaluable - especially the Puffa Fish to throw your norns back out of the water to prevent them from drowning.

Recently PC Zone had a selection of cobs on a disk that came free with the magazine in England. I am aware that not all countries got this disk so I have placed them here for download as it came in the form of an object pack exe. There are no pretty pictures as yet but it is Christmas and I have not had the time!! Let me know if you have problems downloading it and I will send it to you.

Tomato Machine - creates tomatoes which can be eaten or left to seed

Love Potion - a fiery drink to stir even the most passionless creature into action
Hip Flask - for those long evenings in front of the fire, a wee dram of fire water

The Egg Sitter is for all those people driven mad by their Norns touching their eggs and preventing them from hatching. Handy for wolfing runs. This Cob restarts the eggs frequently and makes sure they are not stuck underground. This one is from Ernest Julyan.

The Egg Collector - if you don't want to run the egg sitter during a wolfing run but you want to gather all your un-hatched eggs up once it is finished then this is for you once injected it will gather all un-hached eggs from all over Albia and line them all up beside the incubator. Ernest Julyan.

After a lot of hard work in the world of Creatures Slink appears to be retiring and removing her homepage (she has given people permission to post her cobs as long as full credit is given) so I have put her C2 cobs up here so they will not be lost to future players. Hopefully she will return. The descriptions of the cobs that I have not yet used are from the notepad that is zipped with the cob.

Cactus sometimes get out of control and they are not needed in the world I use for breeding this cob will remove them all when injected. If you want to plant more there are seed machines for both types of cactus in Albia. This one of Slinks.

This encyclopaedia is by Slink and teaches the Norns all of their vocabulary - the words are all shorter, simpler to type names for the items but if you prefer Cyberlifes words it does go back to them when you reset.

This is a plant which came with C2 but was not in the game. It needs medium quantities of inorganic nutrients in order to grow. It needs bees in order to reproduce. The flowers open and close by time of day.

Adds 50 thirst decreaser to all Pumps. Adds 50 thirst decreaser to Water Fountain. Adds 10 each water and thirst decreaser to Tomato Fruits.

Cream Cheese supplies fat and protein missing from ordinary C2 cheese. This one is also very handy if you are planning to leave your norns for a while and want to stock up on food as it can be injected immediately without the waiting time between each peace that you get with the normal cheese. You can just keep clicking on inject to get a big pile by the incubator.

This COB injects a medicine item that makes norns feel more secure and puts them to sleep.

This COB injects a vendor object that produces food objects when activated by either a Norn or the hand. The food object is highly attractive and nourishing.

This COB injects a vendor object that produces drink objects when activated by either a Norn or the hand. The drink objects cools and refreshes the Norn. The empty bottles are biodegradable and disappear after being dropped.

This COB edits Rooms 21, 22 and 23 in Albia. It hopes to close all three known black holes.

Cant get your Norns to the splicing machine? Want to be able to move them around without using the Blueberry Cheat that affects saving? With this cob you can pick up your Norns by using the push / pull hand. This one is from Cuff Droppin.

This COB is by Christian (I am still waiting for a homepage link if anyone knows it). It allows you to pick the parents of an egg. You can pick a Norn of any sex to be either parent. The egg drops into the world. It is especially helpful when you have a crowd of Norns and you want an offspring from two particular Norns.

This idol keeps any pregnant Norn who hears her song healthy during her pregnancy. Very useful for those norns who are prone to falling very ill during pregnancy. It does not induce birth and if anyone knows of a COB that does I really need it! I do not have permission to place this cob here for download as yet, if I do it will be made downloadable - If I don't I will let you know where to find it.

The mushroom patch cob is by Jay Dino. It is handy for putting in all those foodless areas where Norns hang around and get hungry. It provides nutrition and grows back after being eaten.

The Food Vendor is by Jay Dino vends 22 types of food that all have different values and reduce different things. When a Norn eats one of the doughnuts you hear Homer Simpson say 'mmmm doughnut'! This is also handy for those foodless areas and means that the Norns can help themselves.

This Cob is by Spirit. My Norns love munching on this tasty sweet fruit even when I cant get them to eat much more.

This cob is by Denise Voskuil. When I cant get my norns to eat much else I always seem to be able to tempt them with the fruit of the coconut tree and here is a cob that produces that fruit. You will need to have the object pack 1 installed for it to work which can be got ant The Creatures site and is a must have to improve your Norns.

Cartman. He interacts with his environment and your creatures. He eats bad plants and hits other critters, bugs and bad bugs. Your norns can push, pull, kick and even eat him and he will react accordingly in his own inimitable way!

Chef. He sing love songs to get your creatures "in the mood" and also vends his famous Chocolate Salty Balls!

Kenny. He can actually be eaten, with nutritional values to boot! He will come back to life just like the real Kenny.

Ike (Kyle's little brother). He is there to be cute and for your creatures to kick around!
