The 2022 State of the Nation Address will be the first State of the Nation Address that will be delivered by President Bongbong Marcos.[1][2]

Preparations[edit]

On May 31, 2022, Marcos met several members of the Congress of the Philippines to discuss his upcoming first State of the Nation Address.[3]

Seating and guests[edit]

On July 4, 2022, House of Representatives Secretary-General Mark Llandro Mendoza announced the full capacity for Marcos' SONA; it is expected to have 315 members plus 24 senators in the said event.[4]

Address content and delivery[edit]

President Bongbong Marcos will report on the outcome of programs and policies that were promulgated under his predecessor, Rodrigo Duterte.[5]
