How do i trade-in at GAME?
It is as easy as 1,2, 3. Simply bring your unwanted consoles, games or accessories in-store and speak to a member of staff at the till. They will scan each item and let you know how much we’ll pay in cash and credit for your items. Choose from cash, credit or another item in store and it’s as simple as that. Make sure you have a GAME Reward account as you’ll earn points every time you trade-in.

Console Trade-In
If you’re looking to make the leap from PS4 to the brand-new PS5 or Xbox One to the new Xbox Series X|S, you’re in luck. We can offer a fantastic price for your unwanted PlayStation or Xbox console so you can use your credit towards a new console.
To check the trade-in value of your console you can pop in-store and check with a member of staff. You can also check this page regularly to see the trade-in value for a PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and most-wanted games.
Cash or Credit
Whether you are making space or trying to make quick cash, it’s easier than you think. We will give you the freedom to choose from GAME credit or cash. You will also earn GAME Reward points every time you trade-in which can spent on anything you would like.
What can I use the trade-in credit towards?
That’s up to you! You can use it against anything in-store, take the cash or put it on a gift card and spend online. So, if you have had your eye on a game for a while, you can trade-in your unwanted stuff and save money!

10% Extra Trade-In Credit for Reward Card Customers
Offer valid in-store only during opening hours at any Game Retail Limited store between 04/02/22 and close of business 30/06/22. Get an extra 10% credit when you trade in eligible PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X or Nintendo Switch games or accessories. 10% trade in credit value will be added on top of our standard in store credit price at the till point. Part or all of the credit may be loaded onto a Game gift card or Game wallet account for later redemption. All trade-ins must be in good working order, be of satisfactory quality and pass all relevant tests and security checks. Game trade-ins must be in good working order, be of satisfactory quality and in original packaging. Imported games are excluded from being traded in. Trade in credit and cash prices are subject to change and cash prices may be different. Photographic ID is required to trade in.
