The Trump team has made a number of unsubstantiated allegations of voter fraud and ballot irregularities in both counties, according to CBS News and The Associated Press. The recount effort is unlikely to make up the difference in votes between Trump and President-elect Joe Biden, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. In a statement, the Biden campaign said that "A cherry-picked and selective recounting of Milwaukee and Dane County will not change these results.”
