Senior Research Fellow in Social Epidemiology (VIC)

Salary: AUD $116,901- $134,792 p.a. plus 9.5% superannuation

You will be a mid-career researcher with high level quantitative skills who can assist Professor Kavanagh with supervision and management of a team of researchers working on a range of externally funded research projects.

You will work on a range of projects related to the social and economic determinants of the health of people with disabilities funded by the Australian Research Council. You will also contribute to an NHMRC funded Partnership grant on the mental health of mothers. These projects employ a number of other academic and professional staff who you will supervise under the guidance of Professor Anne Kavanagh. In addition to supervising junior staff in all aspects of their research you will be responsible for conducting your own high-level analyses.

You will have a strong commitment to equity in health. You will publish your research in high impact peer-review journals and will apply for research grants.
