Professorate
The IASHE is consistently fulfilling one of the key tasks in its activity – promotion of effective reforming of the system and methodology of higher, supplementary and postgraduate education. The goal of this promotion is to train progressive experts possessing the developed analytical skills, the ability to solve complex professional tasks independently, build new original knowledge and completely satisfy current and future creative demands of the society.
Taking the specified task into account the Academy is already implementing such analytical projects as the GISAP and the IUSIA University. However, these projects are focused on the development of scientific and analytical skills of persons consciously and purposefully seeking for professional and personal self-development, able to think progressively and transform own creative potential into scientific studies.
At the same time, here in the IASHE we understand that efficient improvement of modern education must be based not only on introduction of innovative forms and methods of distribution and development of knowledge, but also on the actual transformation of traditional mechanisms of training qualified specialists within the systems of higher, supplementary and postgraduate education.
In this regard, the Academy has initiated and has been developing own MOOC project (online courses for supplementary education and professional development) called uHive.
In addition currently the Academy is building the methodological and information base, as well as educational resources and the teaching staff required to launch the activities of the International Analytical University of Extensive Knowledge (IAUEK Analytical University) in the nearest future. This institution will be focused on providing original – analytical higher postgraduate and supplementary education in a classical university-based form.
Thus, the IASHE is officially announcing vacant positions of the Professor and the Associate Professor in the currently formed International Analytical University of Extensive Knowledge (IAUEK). These positions at the same time assume acquisition of the corresponding scientific ranks in the IASHE and the educational projects (GISAP, IUSIA University and uHive).

3. Course materials requirements
The lectures presented by applicants for introduction and use in educational programs of the IASHE must meet the following requirements:
3.1. Quality requirements
3.1.1. The course must be original, drafted (prepared) and read to camera (video recording) by the teacher personally (or using the help of assistants); no plagiarism or other violations of the copyright and other rights of the third parties are admissible.
3.1.2. The course must be expounded pedagogically professionally, i.e. the best possible understanding of the educational information by listeners (students) must be ensured. Information of the course must be provided in a consecutive manner with all the logical and cause-and-effect relations between elements of the course maintained.
3.1.3. The course must be theoretically substantiated. It must include the well-reasoned theses and ideas confirmed empirically or in the course of authoritative analytical studies. It must be focused on stimulation of independent thinking of listeners (students), but at the same time it must not include ambiguous or doubtful (groundless) ideas which can be misunderstood or wrongly understood by listeners (students).
3.1.4. The course must be innovative to a certain extent, i.e. it has to contain ideas representing the lecturer’s individual points of view concerning the relevant scientific issues and being the lecturer’s personal contribution into the development of a modern science.
3.1.5. The course must be complete, i.e. it must contain all the information needed to fully disclose the field-specific subject of a course and ensure proper understanding of it by listeners (students).
3.1.6. The course must be qualifying, i.e. it must be sufficient (as for its volume and quality of its contents) for a student to receive at least a minimum volume of knowledge necessary for objective understanding of the course subject and solution of the corresponding professional problems.
3.1.7. The course subject must be within the professional scientific competence of the lecturer. Such competence must assume the lecturer’s ability and the possibility to quickly and independently solve any field-specific (content-related), organizational and methodological issues arising in the course of reading lectures.
3.2. Legal and ethical requirements:
3.2.1. Information offered during a course shouldn't contain:
- elements of plagiarism and other violations of the copyright and other rights of the third parties;
- unethical, offensive statements, as well as information able to harm the honor and reputation of any third party in any way;
- obviously false information presented as the reliable data;
- obviously discriminating data or statements;
- incitements to commit illegal acts;
- elements of negative psychoemotional influence on listeners.
3.2.3. The educator is personally legally responsible for the ethical acceptability, scientific quality and reliability of information stated within a course.
3.3. Certification-related requirements
The author of a course (lecturer) must build, systematize and present educational materials taking into account their efficient adaptation to the necessity of professional, responsible and objective realization of forms of examination of the listeners’ (students’) knowledge provided by the Regulations of activity of the IAUEK University and the uHive project implementation rules.
3.4. Information requirements
The course must include the list of additional scientific and educational literature recommended for reading (studying) by listeners (students) in order to ensure efficient assimilation of the course program and to expand and deepen the volume of knowledge related to the course subject.
3.5. Organizational, formal and technical requirements to video courses of the IAUEK University
3.5.1. The video course must be topical and relevant. It must meet the requirements to lecture materials established by the IASHE. Courses intended for inclusion into the university-based program of training must correspond to the subject field of the relevant department of the IAUEK University, under the auspices of which they are to be offered. The field and the subject of a course are to be harmonized between the lecturer and the IASHE.
3.5.2. The course must have a clear syllabus broken down into parts (corresponding to the weekly cycles of training) and modules (a module is a set of parts of a discipline (course) having the general structural isolation and certain logical completeness in relation to the established purposes and results of training). Each part (week) and the module of a course must have their titles. They must also include the lists of questions considered during the course and the recommended additional literature.
3.5.3. Length of a course must be defined by qualitative requirements to its contents and purposes of the educational process. Depending on the elective or fundamental nature of a course, it can take from 6 to 50 weeks. Every week must include from 90 to 280 minutes of videos and 40 to 100 test questions. As the course materials are passed, every student must take the final examination test consisting of at least 100 questions. All test questions are prepared by the author of a course.
3.5.4. Videos of every week must be smoothly and logically broken into 10-minute files. This convenient way of presenting information will ensure effective perception of it by students. Each 10-minute video file must have its title related to the issue considered.
3.5.5. All kinds of definitions, quotes, theorems, formulas, tables and charts must be visually shown on the screen when they are described or analyzed (i.e. when the lecturer is reading some kind of a definition, the text of this definition must appear on the screen; when the chart is analyzed – it must be on the screen).
3.5.6. The test questions of the training courses must meet the following requirements: 50% of them must be related to formal knowledge, 30% must be embodied in the form of tasks, 20% must include cases making the student perform the well-grounded analysis (if such form of knowledge assessment can be applied to the relevant subject).
3.5.7. The lecturer must not read the lecture from the book or the workbook. The lecturer must point his/her eyes directly at the camera lens 90% of the lecture time.
3.5.8. Quality level of all images, charts, tables, presentations, as well as additional text materials and video files must be high.
3.5.9. Video must not contain any audiovisual ads, logos, brands (in any form), references, etc., except for the cases when such information is a part of the training material.
3.5.10. Technical requirements to video files: HD resolution (1920x1080 or 1280x720), 25-30 fps, a widespread format (mkv, avi, flv), clear sound with no noises (at least 192 kBit/s), size of each 10-minute file must not exceed 1gb. Videos of poor quality or exceeding the size limit will not be accepted.
3.6. Specific requirement to video courses of the uHive project
Requirement to video courses of the uHive project related to quality, organizational form, as well as formal and technical issues are based on requirements similar to those stated in item 3.5., but may contain additional insignificant differences established by Administration of the project.
3.7. Conscientiousness of lecturers in relation to quality and relevance of the author's lecture materials
The author of the course presented within the IASHE educational programs must ensure high quality of such course with the greatest possible diligence. The author must also make necessary amendments to its contents promptly and quickly. This is important for improving the relevance of educational material, eliminating possible flaws or making the course generally better. The lecturer must show such conscientiousness in relation to quality and relevance of the author’s lectures as long as the corresponding course is offered in the IASHE educational programs.
3.8. Integrated universality of lectures on certain humanitarian disciplines
3.8.1. As for the humanitarian disciplines which (according to the content-based specificity of such disciplines and curricula of the IAUEK University) are not tightly connected to the specific national issue, the training material must be presented in the context of the international review, comparative analysis and typologization of the studied objects.
3.8.2. In relation to subjects specified in item 3.8.1., lectures must be universally integrated so that they could be equally interesting and clear to students (listeners) from different countries and could develop their knowledge, in turn building the professional competence potentially applicable in different countries.
4. Admission of lectures to the educational programs
Video courses meeting the established requirements can be used in educational programs of the IASHE as soon as they successfully pass several stages of qualification certification:
1) International expert assessment of lectures;
2) Approbation of lectures in the educational project uHive;
3) Admission and approbation of lectures in the educational program of the relevant department of the IAUEK University as alternative or supplementary material;
4) Admission of lectures to take part in an educational program of the relevant department of the IAUEK University as the basic course of lectures.
5. Basic and optional subjects
5.1. Basic course (subject) of the IASHE educational project is understood as the educational program building the student’s main (fundamental) basic competences, in turn forming the essence and the level of academic and professional qualification. Without the proper knowledge of basic courses of the corresponding speciality, the student can't be recognized as the person possessing the necessary volume of professional competences and able to solve practical tasks of professional activity at the proper level.
5.2. The optional course is the educational program providing the student with the general or supplementary competences, improving the level of the student’s academic and professional qualification.
5. Languages of teaching
Training materials of the IASHE educational programs can be presented to listeners (students) in the following languages:
English
German
French
Spanish
Italian
Russian
Chinese
Ukrainian
In future, as the corresponding necessity and expediency arise, the IASHE will add other demanded languages to the list of those used in the educational practice.
6. Using the author’s lecture materials
The lecture materials presented by their authors and used in the IASHE activities be offered for studying by the interested third parties (promulgated) only within educational programs of the uHive project and the IAUEK University.
7. Teaching and traineeships
Authors of lectures offered in educational programs of the uHive project and the IAUEK University can cooperate with the IASHE in several legal regimes of interaction:
1) professional teaching activities in the system of supplementary education (the uHive project – according to the Agreement concluded with the Administration of the project);
2) professional teaching activities in the system of higher education (the IAUEK University educational activities – according to the Agreement with the IASHE);
3) teaching practice in the IASHE (through the uHive project);
4) professional work placement in the IASHE (through the uHive project).
8. Status of training materials and changing it
8.1. Taking into account the procedure of admission of lecture materials to educational programs of the IASHE provided in item 4, such materials offered by their authors for use in the IASHE activities can have one of the following statuses:
8.1.1. lecture course of the uHive project;
8.1.2. an auxiliary lecture course of the corresponding IAUEK University department (an optional course intended for additional studying by interested persons);
8.1.3. an alternative lecture course of the corresponding IAUEK University department (a basic or optional course intended to be selected by the interested person from among several alternative courses with similar subject);
8.1.4. a basic lecture course of the corresponding IAUEK University department (a basic course which must be obligatorily finished by students of a certain speciality).
8.2. The status of lecture materials can be changed as they pass the corresponding stages of qualification-based attestation.
9. Form of presentation of lectures and providing access to study them
The lecture materials presented and used within the framework of the IASHE educational programs can be uploaded and offered for everyone interested (listeners and students) only on official websites of the uHive project and the IAUEK University.
10. Admission of lecture materials with similar subjects to educational programs
10.1. Regardless of the number of courses already active in educational programs of the IASHE new lecture materials with similar subjects (topics) are accepted and used in the uHive project and the IAUEK University without any limitations, provided that such new obviously original and high-quality courses have successfully passed the qualification-based attestation.
10.2. Status of courses with similar topics, as well as the scale of interest to them from the side of students (listeners) are defined on a competitive basis – students freely choose the course among the alternatives offered.
11. Rules of filling vacant positions and granting academic pedagogical ranks
11.1. Innovative nature of the IASHE educational programs assumes absence of any restrictions concerning the number of teachers’ positions at departments of the IAUEK University.
11.2. In order to apply for a vacant position at a department of the IAUEK University, as well as the corresponding academic pedagogical rank, any person must meet the personal and professional requirements stated in item 2, and also must submit all the necessary documents, as well as the established volume of original lecture materials of proper quality.
12. Academic status improvement
Educational academic status of authors of lectures offered in the IASHE educational programs is developing according to the requirements stated in item 2, taking into account the scale of progressive educational work and research activities of such persons.
13. Legalization of relations between the educator and the IASHE
13.1. Professional educational work within the supplementary education system (uHive project) is legalized by the Agreement with the project’s Administration.
13.2. Professional educational work within the higher education system (the IAUEK University educational activities) is legalized by the Agreement with the IASHE).
13.3. Teaching practice and professional work placement in the IASHE (through the uHive project) is verified by the special IASHE Certificate and the Europass Mobility (European mobility passport).
