Biotechnological Research is an open access international peer reviewed journal published by Sasthra Journals,India.The Journal publishes quarterly (4 times an year) innovative research findings from applied biology fields.Main areas journal focuses includes

Classical Biotechnology- which includes the production of animal,plant and microbial bio-products, production optimization and their applications.

Environmental Biotechnology-which includes bio remediation,waste management, pollutants,hazards and their remedies.

Medical Biotechnology-dealing with diseases and their solutions using biotechnological tools,current developments in medical diagnostics like innovative ideas,techniques, instruments and so on.

Bioinformatics-Use of bioinformatics tools in drug designing, prediction of protein structures,development of new algorithms for innovative tools,databases etc.

Plant Biotechnology-latest developments from plant biology including plant tissue culture,stress resistance,hybridization,improvement of crop variety,genetic variation studies and so on.

​The Journal welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence. All articles published in Biotechnological Research will be gone through double blind peer review.Papers are strictly accepted only after satisfied revision only.

Types of papers

Reviews are brief summaries of current developments They must be based on published articles, and may address any area of biotechnology. Reviews manuscripts will be peer-reviewed 

Regular articles should describe new findings, and experimental procedures should be given in detail for others to verify the work. The length of a full paper should be the minimum required to describe and interpret the work clearly. No limit on the length, but a concise presentation is encouraged. 

Short Communications is for a concise but independent report or giving details of new models or hypotheses, innovative methods, techniques or apparatus. The style of main sections need not conform to that of full-length papers. Short communications are less than 4 printed pages in length.

Biotechnological Research publishes high-quality articles in English. Review process will usually take approx.40 days and after that accepted papers are published online.The Journal intends to develop to a world class publication in coming years. This journal is purely Open Access one.
