Introduction

Scope

The Online Journal of Library and Information Science (OJLIS) will purely be a research journal. It will publish well written original research papers that describe the latest research and developments in the field of Library and Information Science (LIS). With broader scope, the journal will cover all aspects of LIS.

 Open Access Policy
The OJLIS will adopt open access policy for the benefit of the authors, library professionals and research community. The authors can self-archive their published articles on their own blogs, websites or institutional repositories. The readers of OJLIS can download or use any article free of charge for academic purpose such as study, research or any non-commercial academic activity.

Publication Ethics
OJLIS will follow the guidelines of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan for Publication Ethics for all its approved Journals. These guidelines are available at HEC Guidelines Page.

Abstracting, Cataloguing and Indexing Services
The journal will be indexed in a number of national and international abstracting, cataloguing and indexing services.
