AIR’s Membership categories are designed to reach out to those sectors of the industrial
and commercial real estate industry whose interaction strengthens not only each sector,
but the Association itself.
These categories include:
Firm Membership. AIR’s membership is comprised of over 400 firms bridging the entire
gamut of company types. They range from global companies to boutique firms with special
expertise on local markets in the eight-county Southern California region.

Broker/Agent Membership. With over 1700 broker/agent members, AIR’s
ranks represent the entire cross-section of the business real estate community,
including the top echelon of practitioners in the industrial, office and retail sectors.
As such, the Association represents approximately 95 percent of the region’s brokerage community.

Appraiser Membership. Recognizing that the appraisal profession has a vital contribution
to make to industrial and commercial real estate brokerage in the form of property data
and comparables, AIR culminated extensive dialogue with appraisers leading to a valuable alliance
and establishment of the Appraiser Membership.

Affiliate Business Membership. Representing a vital resource from a variety of respected
industry-related businesses, AIR’s Affiliate Business Membership enables these companies to
stimulate interaction, input and ideas that strengthen the Association. AIR’s Affiliates
blend their expertise with the core membership in the form of education and trends. Affiliates
also provide vital sponsorships for such key AIR events as regular Broker Network meetings and
the Annual "Market Review & Forecast" Dinner.
