Nanobiomedicine journal's launch announced at the BioMEMS workshop hosted by the journal's Editorial Board Member, Dr. Ali Khademhosseini (Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, Harvard)

The editorial team of the Nanobiomedicine journal is thrilled to announce that one of the journal’s Editorial Board Members, Ali Khademhosseini, Harvard Medical School, USA, is co-chairing the “Micro- and Nanotechnologies for Medicine: Emerging Frontiers and Applications” (BioMEMS) workshop currently taking place at 65 Landsdowne St, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge (MA), USA.

Dr. Ali Khademhosseini is Associate Faculty member of the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University, Associate Professor at Harvard-MIT's Division of Health Sciences and Technology (HST), Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Harvard Medical School. During the workshop the following topics will be discussed:

  1. Microfluidics
  2. Biomaterials
  3. Stem cells
  4. Drug Delivery
  5. BioMEMS and Biosensing
  6. Tissue Engineering
  7. Nanotechnology
  8. Professional development/translation to products

Among other, Dr. Khademhosseini has recently been named an AAAS fellow, the ACS Kavli Emerging Leader in Chemistry and a National Award Finalist for the Blavatnik Award for Young Scientists.

Nanobiomedicine’s Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Winston Patrick Kuo (Harvard Medical School, USA), is also participating to the BioMEMS workshop taking this great opportunity to present the journal to all attendees.
