Some recency bias and some kind of odd choices for this week's survey (such as Angel Blue). I probably would have thrown Catch You, Catch Me and Ai (Chuuseishin) in ahead of that one (or if you wanted something underrated: Shell from Witch Hunter Robin).

I'm honestly just confused as to how somebody could make a list of anime tournaments without Yu Yu Hakusho's Dark Tournament on it.

Betelgeuse isn't on the list from the vote... .
Nice to see the GMG arc and the Hunter Exam on the list. There are quite a lot of tournaments to choose from. Last edited by cloud8100 on Sat Sep 10, 2016 11:22 am; edited 1 time in total |

Anyone else think it's funny that the new poll is asking what opening sequence is the coolest and one of the choices is literally called COOLEST? XD

Then why not just add one in? There's an option right at the bottom of the survey. it's not as if Lynzee can think of every single anime OP right off the top of her head. |

That's what I'm saying. The Dark Tournament was so badass. Specially watching it younger. |

For whatever reason, I've never seen the "add your own" option listed in these List articles. I've seen other people mention it as well, but it doesn't show up for me. Is there something I have to do to enable it? |

Ladd barely made the top 10.
As for OPs, I went with 3 pretty varied choices: Lain, Angel Beats and Champloo. Surprised myself I didn't pick Bebop, but no, I like those 3 more. |

When they first put up the survey it didn't have the usual submission option for me (which it does have now). |

If it were just a question of the music, I would have nominated "Through the Night" by Masahiko Arimachi (Outlaw Star) but I was looking at it recently and the graphics haven't held up well.

Call me old-fashioned if you will, but the rapid interspersion of key terms and show-related lore in Evangelion's opening will take something quite unprecedented to be outdone.

So are we gonna act like the Chunin Exams wasn't an amazing arc? And an exclusion of the Dark Tournament in YYH is an absolute travesty. Otherwise decent list I guess.
