Council Meetings

With the exception of statutory holidays, City Council meetings are held every second Monday at 6:30 p.m. City Council meetings are held in Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 50 Church St. View the 2016 City Council Meeting Calendar.

Appointments To Address City Council

An appointment to address City Council may be obtained by submitting a written request to the Office of the City Clerk, at least five days prior to the date of the meeting.

Written requests must include the following:

1. Speaker's name
2. Address (including postal code)
3. Phone number
4. The date of the meeting at which you wish to speak
5. A brief statement about the nature of the business to be presented.

Any written materials to be distributed to City Council should be provided to the City Clerk no later than noon on the Thursday prior to City Council's Monday meeting. Please provide 24 copies for distribution.
