VACANCY: Writer Services Assistant- within the Membership Department
- Full Time 12 month Fixed Term contract position has become available within the Membership Department
- Sydney office
- The hours are 9.00am- 5.00pm Monday-Friday and the position will commence ASAP
The primary function of the role is to provide administrative support to the Writer Services Team.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Administrative support as required for Writer Services.
- Formatting of documents for presentations and print as well as the creation of Powerpoint presentations as required.
- Mail-outs to members
- IPI Administration for Writer Members – involving data entry and error reporting
- Monitoring and distributing core email correspondence from members to the broader Writer Services team
- Booking and setting up meeting spaces for internal and external meetings.
- Lodging and reporting to Payroll for departmental leave.
Skills and Experience:
- Accurate data entry
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Experience with Outlook, Excel and Word
We are seeking a person who is; consultative, collaborative, assertive, organised & proactive in their interpersonal style. A self-starter with personal integrity who adopts a methodical approach to work.
