VACANCY: Writer Services Assistant- within the Membership Department

  • Full Time 12 month Fixed Term contract position has become available within the Membership Department
  • Sydney office
  • The hours are 9.00am- 5.00pm Monday-Friday and the position will commence ASAP

The primary function of the role is to provide administrative support to the Writer Services Team.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Administrative support as required for Writer Services.
  • Formatting of documents for presentations and print as well as the creation of Powerpoint presentations as required.
  • Mail-outs to members
  • IPI Administration for Writer Members – involving data entry and error reporting
  • Monitoring and distributing core email correspondence from members to the broader Writer Services team
  • Booking and setting up meeting spaces for internal and external meetings.
  • Lodging and reporting to Payroll for departmental leave. 

Skills and Experience: 

  • Accurate data entry
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Time management skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Experience with Outlook, Excel and Word 

We are seeking a person who is; consultative, collaborative, assertive, organised & proactive in their interpersonal style. A self-starter with personal integrity who adopts a methodical approach to work.
