Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston was born on February 11, 1969 in Sherman Oaks, California. She is the daughter of actor John Aniston and actress Nancy Dow, as well as goddaughter to the late Telly Sevalas. As a child, she split time between New York City, where her father had roles in soap operas, and Greece. Following in her parent's footsteps, she pursued an acting career.

She initially had a bout of bad luck, landing roles in series that were quickly canceled, like Molloy and Ferris Bueller. All that changed when she was cast as Rachel Green in Friends, which lasted for ten seasons. By the end of the last season, Aniston was making one million dollars an episode, reported to be the highest paid television actress (along with Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow).

Aniston has also starred in several movies, including cult hit Office Space and critically acclaimed The Good Girl. She has starred opposite Jim Carrey in Bruce Almighty and Vince Vaughn in The Break-Up.

She was also involved in a high-profile marriage with actor Brad Pitt which ended in divorce.
