The teen star, whose self-titled debut CD tops the Billboard Country Albums chart, joins Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen and the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police in launching the campaign. Taylor says of her involvement, “Chatting with friends and surfing the Internet is cool, but it’s important to stay safe. Be smart about keeping your identity private online.” The campaign will encourage schools, parents, community agencies and youth groups to raise awareness about potential risks on the Internet, and communicate tips for staying safe.
