Eugenie Bouchard shows off training tights that make her 'peach look hot' after crashing out of the Shenzhen Open

  • Eugenie Bouchard lost 6-4, 6-4 to Timea Babos at the WTA Shenzhen Open
  • Canadian is still recovering from concussion suffered at the 2014 US Open
  • Bouchard shared Instagram picture wearing her new Nike training tights

Tennis golden girl Eugenie Bouchard gave fans a cheeky preview of her new Nike training tights after crashing out of the WTA Shenzhen Open in China.

The 21-year-old shared Instagram pictures of herself posing in the sportswear, which appears to bring out the best of her athletic figure and came with an emoticon-led caption that translates as 'Compression to make your (peach) look (hot)'.

The Canadian is still cautiously recovering from a bout of concussion that she suffered after a fall at last year's US Open - where she slipped in the locker room and then retired during a match in Beijing a month later with dizziness - and was making her first return to competition for three months.

Eugenie Bouchard reached the quarter-finals of the Shenzhen Open before losing to Timea Babos

Earlier this week, Bouchard told ESPN: 'I just take it day by day, kind of week by week now. It's my comeback, so I'm just taking it very slowly, and I'm just so happy to be back in tour. That's the most important thing.

'I'm feeling OK. I haven't played a competitive match in a while, and I had a tough three-setter [on Tuesday], so I'll see how I feel.'

The world No 49 won two matches to reach the quarter-finals, the first time she has progressed to that stage of a tournament since last year's Australian Open, before losing 6-4, 6-4 to unseeded Timea Babos of Hungary on Thursday.

In other matches, top-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska reached to the semi-finals with a 6-3, 6-2 win over China's Wang Qiang, while Alison Riske of the United States beat Anett Kontaveit of Estonia 6-1, 3-6, 6-3.
