If anything was needed to illustrate how much of an effort is required by footballers to keep up with their social media notifications, then this video from Demy de Zeeuw should do it.
Former Ajax and Holland midfielder De Zeeuw has shown what happens when he switches on push notifications on his iPhone for the Instagram account of his social sports community, 433.
During the 20-second video, hundreds of notifications come through with photos and videos on the page which has more than eight million followers.

De Zeeuw was behind the establishment three years ago of 433, which boasts itself as 'one of the largest social sports communities in the world' with funny clips and stories.
He is currently a free agent after leaving NAC Breda last summer.
The 32-year-old's former clubs include Ajax, Spartak Moscow and AZ.
De Zeeuw won 27 caps for Holland team and featured in the squads at Euro 2008 and the 2010 World Cup, where he hit the headlines after being on the wrong end of a nasty kick from Uruguay star Martin Caceres.

He had to be hauled off at half-time after being accidentally kicked in the teeth by Caceres. The Dutch managed to win the semi-final tie without the midfielder, beating Uruguay 3-2 to advance to the World Cup final where they were beaten 1-0 by Spain.
De Zeeuw has clearly been keen to embrace online social networks, advertising his services via his personal LinkedIn account after becoming a free agent last year.
As part of his personal statement, he wrote: 'I play 27 international games for the Netherlands also on Euro and World Cup semi-final in 2010 South Africa, 18 Champions League games 3 goals [sic]'.
De Zeeuw also posted a four-year-old YouTube compilation showing the very best of his performances throughout the years.
