Cristiano Ronaldo may have missed out on a fourth Ballon d'Or on Monday but the Real Madrid star appeared to be in high spirits while posing with a £146,000 supercar.
Lionel Messi followed up on his achievement in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 to reclaim the crown from Real Madrid rival Ronaldo, who came second in the vote, to claim his fifth Ballon d'Or.
But Ronaldo seems to have put the snub behind him - if the most recent picture on his Instagram account is anything to go by.

Following the ceremony, Ronaldo - who was also named in the 2015 FIFA FIFPro World Eleven - revealed he hopes to continue to 'make people happy' with his football
He told realmadrid.com: 'My work is to help my team win titles, score goals and form part of a team. I enjoy making people happy, my fans and everyone that follows me and likes my style of play.
'My aim is always to be among the best. Each season is a new challenge and I try to give my best. I want to make people happy.'
