The 'dab' has swiftly become a prominent goal celebration in football but Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has taken things up a level by incorporating it into a haircut.

The 22-year-old returned to action after the festive break for the Serie A champions on Wednesday with the word 'dab' emblazoned into the side of his head.

It is a goal celebration which sees players bowing forward and lowering their head towards the crook of their arm - as if they are dabbing sweat from their forehead.

Back to work dab team is back,' Pogba captioned a Twitter picture of his hair.

The celebration was seen by Jordon Ibe and Nathaniel Clyne on Tuesday, after the former scored the decisive goal as Liverpool won the first leg of Capital One Cup semi-final against Stoke 1-0.

And Pogba needed only eight minutes before he could use the celebration for the first time on the football pitch in 2016, when his team-mate Paulo Dybala put Juventus ahead against Verona after eight minutes.

Juventus led 2-0 at half-time through Leonardo Bonucci adding the second.

Three days earlier, Pogba uploaded a picture to his official Twitter account of him alongside Mario Balotelli holding the pose.

And in England, the celebration is not something that is unique to the red half of Merseyside.

Romelu Lukaku, striker for Everton, performed the celebration after scoring against Stoke in December.

It has also been seen in basketball through LeBron James.
