England bowlers Stuart Broad and Steven Finn have been making the most of the seven-day break between Test matches against South Africa.

'My passengers for this flight,' Broad wrote as a caption to his 124,000 followers.

Former team-mate Graeme Swann jokingly replied to Broad's post: 'I'm flying on a private jet and desperately want everyone to know...how can I post a pic that seems casual?!!!!!'

Broad and Finn only had two days to recover between the first two Tests against South Africa in Durban and Cape Town, so the seven day gap provides a welcome chance to rest up.

Broad was fined 30 per cent of his match fee during the drawn second Test at Newlands for dissent after allegedly twice telling umpire Aleem Dar to 'get on with the game.'

The 29-year-old Broad finished with figures of 2-94 for South Africa's innings on a tough bowling wicket, while Finn had 2-132.

England lead the four-match series against South Africa 1-0 after winning the first encounter in Durban by 241 runs.

Broad, Finn and co will be facing South Africa under different leadership when the two teams lock horns for the third match in Johannesburg.

Hashim Amla resigned as Proteas captain after the end of the second Test on Wednesday as he wants to focus on returning to consistent batting form.

AB de Villiers will take over for the rest of the series, despite the 31-year-old batsman saying he is looking to lessen the amount of international cricket he plays.

'It's always been the most important thing for me to enjoy my cricket,' De Villiers said to SuperSport. It's just important to look at the schedule moving forward, that's the talk in the camp and for me maybe not to play all kinds of cricket.
