What do school meals cost?

  • Infant school meals (Key Stage 1 pupils) - Free

  • Junior school meals (Key stage 2 pupils) - £2.10 per day 

  • Secondary school meals - £2.30 per day

How do I pay for school meals?

Payment methods for school meals can vary depending on which school - please check with your school first.

If your school has already transferred to Squidcard then you should use:

Otherwise your can pay using our online payment system:  

Use our online school meal payments

We are currently changing our online payment method over to Squidcard. Your child will be given a letter to take home notifying you when the change takes place at your child’s school.

You can use a debit or credit card to make your payment. There may be a charge for paying by credit card.

What other ways can I pay?

Alternatively, you can pay by sending dinner money into school on a weekly basis in the form of cash or cheque. The school will advise which day of the week is most convenient (usually Mondays).
