Supplier Profile Information

This topic describes the supplier profile fields and the information categories that they fall into.

There are four categories of information:

  • Public Profile Information. This includes basic corporate or company information–its official name, headquarters information, standard industry codes (SIC), geographical service scope, and the like.
  • Controlled Profile Information. This includes more sensitive information such as federal tax ID number (TIN), reseller tax data, and insurance policies.
  • Customer-Specific Profile Information. This includes information provided for a specific customer, such as bank account information, contract terms, and customer contacts.
  • Private Profile Information. Each user’s password and challenge question are private and protected for security purposes. In addition, the individual’s Lavante Supplier Network status setting (registered or unregistered) is private.
