When lots of people start searching for something, it can provide very useful information about particular trends at that time. For example, research has shown that certain search terms are good indicators of flu activity. We hope that our up-to-date influenza estimates may enable public health officials and health professionals to better respond to seasonal epidemics and pandemics. Learn more.
