To provide balanced, independent daily news and information to the public and to provide an online platform for citizen journalists, bloggers, and activists to express their views. The project will operate a human rights and democracy-focused website and produce a monthly print magazine to expand access to information and promote freedom of expression in Vietnam.

Supporting Religious Freedom and Civil Society Development in Vietnam
To build the capacity of Vietnamese organizations and activists to support and defend human rights and civil society. The project will train religious freedom and civil society activists on human rights advocacy skills, project management, and community organizing as well as link them to their counterparts in other Southeast Asian countries to strengthen an emerging grassroots civil society movement in Vietnam.

To provide opportunities for Vietnamese activists to gain expertise and skills necessary to support and defend human rights, free media, and civil society, and to raise awareness of human rights issues in Vietnam. The project will provide human rights and democracy training for young activists and carry out a series of human rights campaigns and advocacy programs to raise awareness of key human rights issues in Vietnam.

Civil Society Training and Internship for Vietnamese Activists
To build the capacity of Vietnamese civil society activists to support and defend human rights, free media, and civil society. The project will provide long-term and short-term training and internship programs in Asia for Vietnamese activists to provide them an opportunity to learn from and engage with other civil society organizations.

Supporting Human Rights and Religious Freedom
To promote human rights and religious freedom. The project will offer skills and knowledge training on several topics, including human rights principles, campaigning strategies, and legal defense. It will also provide opportunities for civil society activists to network and cooperate with one another to strengthen their advocacy efforts for religious freedom.
