Strengthening Domestic Election Monitoring in Asia
To strengthen the capacity of and cooperation among domestic election monitoring bodies in the Asia region. The Asian Network for Free Elections Foundation will work closely with domestic election monitoring groups to organize short and long-term observations of targeted elections. It will also organize workshops on voter education, election systems, parliamentary oversight, and good governance, and promote efforts to develop regional norms and principles on election monitoring.

Enhancing Democratic Elections in Asia: The Asian Electoral Resource Center
To strengthen the capacity of and increase cooperation and information sharing among domestic election-monitoring groups and other election-related stakeholders in the Asia region. The Asian Network for Free Elections Foundation (ANFREL) will establish the Asian Electoral Resource Center, which will serve as a regional hub for election observation training and other election-related learning opportunities as well as a repository of reference and advocacy materials for member organizations and other groups interested in democracy and election issues in Asia.

In Hong Kong, NDI will support online platforms and community initiatives that promote citizen-created models of governance. NDI will also conduct a young women's leadership initiative.
