In March, photographer Celeste Sloman made her "first and certainly not last" visit to Russia.
"As soon as I arrived in Moscow I was immediately compelled to hit the streets and take portraits, trying to capture a spectrum of Moscow's residents.
Despite the language barrier on my end, myself and my assistant Tolik set up a white seamless in both central and peripheral locations in Moscow — in particular, in Lublino and Arbat — and documented people who were traveling to or from the subway."
