This moderately large aeolid nudibranch is characterised by the speckled fawn pigment on the skin cerata and around the edges of the foot, and by the presence of white pigment on the tips of the rhinophores and oral tentacles.Comment from Richard Willan on photo #4860
This is one of a group of four similar-looking European species of Aeoliodiella (Aeolidiella papillosa, Aeolidiella sanguinea and Aeolidiella alderi). Aeolidiella glauca is characterised externally by the pale cream pigment in patches on the outside of the cerata, particularly the lateral cerata.Locality:
