Rihanna fronting Dior's newest campaign is an historic event for the brand and for women of colour, with Rihanna stepping to the fore to be the first black woman to represent the 70-year-old brand. 

Speaking to MTV, Rihanna said: “It is such a big deal for me, for my culture, for a lot of young girls of any colour. I think to be acknowledged by Dior means a lot, as a woman to feel beautiful, and elegant, and timeless."

Shot by photographer Steven Klein at Versailles, the video and photo series will be the fourth Secret Garden campaign for Dior.
