About the AMOS-3 Satellite

With Ku-band and Ka-band steerable and fixed beams, the AMOS-3 satellite, the latest addition to the AMOS fleet launched in 2008, delivers the capacity and frequencies you need for a range of satellite services, including:

  • Direct-to-home (DTH)
  • Video distribution to cable head-ends
  • VSAT communications
  • Broadband Internet

Located at Spacecom’s 4°W orbital “hot spot,” the AMOS-3 satellite has fixed beams capable of delivering coverage in Europe and the Middle East as well as connectivity to the East Coast of the U.S. via Spacecom’s single-hop Atlantic Bridge.

And because the AMOS-3 satellite is co-located with the AMOS-2 satellite for in-orbit redundancy, customers benefit from our backup capabilities and high service reliability.
