Ground could soon break on a project poised to change Saskatoon's skyline. The massive hotel retail condo complex will go up on Parcel 'Y' at River Landing.

Doctor Karrim Nasser says architects are just putting the final touches on the blue prints for the massive project. Once that's done, he says it shouldn't be too much longer before the shovels hit the dirt.

"Hopefully, if everything goes fine, and the city approves the development permit, then from there on, things will move a little faster, hopefully during the summer, we'll break ground," said Nasser.

Construction on the project is expected to begin by summer, and take up to five years to complete.
