Following hot on the heels of the recent The Last Of Us Remastered bundle, Sony has just announced that Driveclub is getting its very own PS4 package when it launches in Europe on October 10th. The bundle will include a 500GB console, a DualShock 4 controller, a full copy of the game, and will retail with an RRP of €439.99 (which roughly converts to about £349).
It’s the PlayStation round up… PLAYSTATION ROUND UP! And quite wonderfully, it won’t cost you $599. Today, Sony CEO Andrew House talks about all the money that’s been pumped into Morpheus, there’s some Doom 4 murmurings and England come second in the World Cup! Eh, on FIFA.
Good, hard facts. That’s the name of the game in today’s round up. Video evidence of Project CARS’ imminent shaking-up and knocking down of the driving genre as a whole appeared today to coincide with Bandai Namco’s announcement that it’s taking the game under its wing. Screens have also surfaced from FOX engine-powered footy hopeful PES 2015 that demonstrates how Konami hopes to prize FIFA’s deathgrip off the new-gen trophy – look out for the genuinely terrifying Rooney render. And finally, BioWare’s revealed the full cast of nine potential party members in Dragon Age: Inquisition, and what they’re about.
Everyone likes it toasty in OPM #99 as we bring you our Hot 50, counting down the biggest and best games coming to a PS4 near you, including… Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Rise Of The Tomb Raider! Far Cry 4! LittleBigPlanet 3! GTA 5! And Bloodborne! Oh, and we give you a few kickass posters, too.
Today is all about blurring the lines between reality and videogames. Over in Spain, a group of extraordinarily talented film makers have recreated the GTA V trailer shot-for-shot, while at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, gamer Krisztian Somodi put his GT6 skills to the test by racing former Stig Ben Collins up the famous Hill Climb course – Collins was driving a Ford Focus ST while Somodi turned the virtual wheel. And finally those twisted minds behind the mouse-people in those Lloyds TSB ads are making a PS Vita game called Coffin Dodgers.
In (on?) today’s PlayStation round up… quotes about The Last Of Us running at 60fps on PS4 and how such a feat is “transformative”! Bungie rerecording some of Peter Dinklage’s Destiny lines (may we point to MoonWizard.com?)! And Rockstar North’s Leslie Benzies buys God’s house in Edinburgh!
