I need to stick in a Katamari soundtrack and play Vib-Ribbon with it! I bought it, I really like strange music games and always seem to buy them (yet I do not own Taiko Drum Master on PS2). Of course, this is the first time it's hit American shores so that was awesome! Makes me wish I could stick CDs into other music games. I should play Retro/Grade again.

Vib Ribbon is a cute and funny game. I haven't played it for a donkey's age, but it's still in my collection.

As for the Wonderboy series; Sega games tended to end up being best on a Sega Console, but the Commodore 64 version of Wonderboy in Monsterland wasn't too shabby, really.

In Retrospect: Westone: I absolutely love both Dragon's Trap and especially Monster World IV, one of the best downloads I have on my Wii (Asha is a likable female hero, Pepe is so expressive & cute and the music is catchy; call me a sucker for Arabian fantasy settings). They're excellent games in their own right and I would love it if Aquario could somehow come to be. So in order for it to be remotely playable, it needs a rare arcade board? Which board is it exactly?

Oh wow, I didn't know. Man that sucks. They were one of those great underdog companies that really deserved more notice among gamers. =/

Willy Wombat: I have to say, I'm surprised Willy Wombat didn't come here. The art style screams 90s anthro animal superhero marketing, especially looking at the game cover. And even more amazing is the fact it has English voice acting to begin with. It sounds like it was intended for the U.S. market all along.

Been playing TERRA BATTLE (Canadian version) and it's simple but effective. Besides the energy meter like in most phone games, the game is pretty solid and have a lot of potential. Definitely worth a try.

Wow, Wonder Boy...I haven't seen him in a long time! I remember when my dad had a Master System. He had Wonder Boy and I went out to rent Wonder Boy in Monster Land and was totally thrown by the difference between the two.

Though, being extremely young at the time, I wasn't great at either game...but would still play for hours. I think I got further into Monster Land than I ever did in the original Wonder Boy game. Laughing

I'm glad Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus didn't get any additional censorship and the rating it deserves, this is how you handle a localization unlike Censor Factory and Monster Monpiece. Is it so hard for IF and NISA to slap an M rating on a game that needs it and not censor it any further than it's Japanese release for a lower rating.

The news about a release date for Captain Toad is awesome. I've been waiting for that game for a while. It's going to be a real blast to play on my Wii U, alongside Smash Bros., Mario Kart, and the plethora of others that are coming out.

Tears to Tiara 2 is a great surprise to be getting, and I'm quite eager to play it (love SRPGs). Atlus localizing it was nothing short of exciting to find out. I'm still working through Fairy Fencer F, but once I'm done, I'll be diving into this gem.

Also, may I ask if the piece on Senran Kagura, and tearing into the players of the game, was meant to be a joke? Or was it meant to be serious? I'm a bit confused by the tone of that portion.

Vib Ribbon looks interesting, love rhythm games so I might give this one a try. Just one Question, though, does anyone know if digital music can be used?

Also, I'm pretty excited for the release of Senran Kagura next week, Burst was easily my favorite 3DS brawler gameplay-wise, and while SV doesn't feel as expansive as Burst (I've imported SV, got 100% completion in about a week, but I've poured 100+ hours into Burst and still have yet to do everything), but it's still a pretty solid brawler. Also looking forward to the next part of the SK story, as not being able to follow most of it was my biggest problem when playing the Japanese version.

Well, the original version allowed me to use my own CDs, which was actually one of the selling points of the game (since it didn't come with THAT many original tracks on its own), so it would be kind of dumb of them not to let you use various music files somehow, if not necessarily CDs, like you can in Audiosurf. Whether they do this, though, I can't really answer.

But... hopefully?
