Real gateway to skype network

Hello, everyone!

I have good news for all of us! Some anonymous internet user send to me this very cool version of skypekit 3.7. Which send *no* skypekit related binary identity to microsoft-skype servers at all. So, you could use it for skype web service creation and do all other good things (its very important to have something with skype-network compatibility in public domain).

So, it is. Big thanks to our anonymous friends for hard work of patching it.
Noid - means depersonalized, no blocks for users anymore (in theory, so be careful). Its acting like usual 6.18.x.x skype.

P.S. For download, just copy *magnet link from post to your favorite torrent client.
P.S2. Added skypekit v4.1.2 also with noid.

  10. My, this is interesting.

    So did failed skypekits just inform Microsoft of their identity or seek approval in order to enable their ability to connect? If it's the former surely Microsoft could just reject anything that gave no identity.

    But if it's the latter (and this fix assumes approval) it may last a while. To counteract it they'd need to add a new identity requirement so this fix would fail it.

    So either way it's probably not a permanent fix, but if it remains relatively unknown it should be a great medium-term solution.

    1. Skypekits needed aditional id's. Trillian owned one (bought from Microsoft). Now this skypekit ignores Trillians skypekit id's and acts like a normal Skype client.
      Of course Microsoft could ask this client a question it will fail to answer, but the next day hack will fix that.

    Compare the _noid.exe with the exe from the torrent (skypekit-sdk_runtime-3.7.0) with HxD hex editor and you will see that some offsets are changed. The offset of skype version is clearly visible in the hex. Seems like the user ID is also hardcoded in the exe and removed in the _noid.exe version. There are also IP addresses of a KillSwitch servers which are set to 127.0.0.1:80. Does anyone know what is the KillSwitch server?

    I have edited the linux-x86 skypekit3.7 binary (comes in the torrent) and changed the version number. The change allows me to connect to the network however I get disconnected after I send/receive chat messages. The error is - LOGOUTREASON.SERVER_CONNECT_FAILED. The log files are huge and have some references to failed connections to killswitch server which I think is a cause for this...

  13. KillSwitch is the module in skypekit, that periodically sends your skypekit identity and application identity to skype killswitch servers, and receive answer, is this instance allowed to work or not.

  19. If the modder is reading this then please also get SkypeKit v4 working again. SkypeKit v3.7 doesn't correctly display the online state for all contacts. It's always had this problem, but with SkypeKit v4 everything worked perfectly before Microsoft blocked it.

    The work done here is very much appreciated.

  21. I have a strange problem with that patched skypekit (in Trillian). Works fine with most people but for some when I write them a message there status changes to offline and they don't receive the message until I reconnect Skypekit. But they are actually online (and use original Skype), any idea what could cause it and how to resolve this?

  25. Are these modified from SkypeKit that comes with Trillian or are they based on the leaked SDK source? It's just that there was word going around before that Microsoft can detect and ban people for using the SDK versions.

      but consider that all that is illegal
      so maybe hide your internet traffic using Tor

    3. If you have utorrent installed then yes, just paste in url and click enter and browser will ask if you want to open it with utorrent (I dont know if the same is with other torrent clients). If that does not happen then in utorrent open file-Add Torrent from URL and paste that magnet link there.

      This is not the right place to learn how to use internet.

  33. For anyone wondering about Android, a sign that your client is too old is the misleading "You cannot be signed in at this time" message. Too old these days is a is apparently anything before v5.

    I wonder if there's a hack to allow older Android clients, like 3.2? The advantage of pre-v4 versions is that they don't have the "always online" problem.

  36. I really appreciate the effort more than you know, but its a shame that those are the only versions of Skypekit we can use. Both the 3.7, and the 4.1 are terribly inaccurate with the presence of my buddies. Some of them don't show up, others can't receive messages, and if you have a buddy with facebook: or live: in their name forget about using trillian. I know beggers can't be choosers, but any chance someone can deobfuscate 4.5 so we can get a proper working version? Again, all the thanks in the world for what we do have.

      Could take the SkypKit from the last stable Trillian build, unpack it and try to disable the sending of the identity. Could someone please make this happen?
