Copyright statement

All British Psychological Society publications in all media are copyright of the British Psychological Society and, unless expressly provided for otherwise, where they are made available, whether for a charge of not, are made available for personal use only. Any BPS publication, document, web page, image, video, podcast, audio recording, etc. may not be distributed, republished or reproduced (either electronically or by other means) without permission, other than as allowed by ‘fair dealing’ and ‘fair use’ under UK and EU copyright laws.

Permissions

Permission to copy or distribute BPS copyright material, or to translate and distribute translated versions, must be requested in writing by emailing permissions@bps.org.uk.

Please give as much information as possible about the source of the material you wish to copy, distribute or translate and about what it is to be used for and where.

Organisations in the UK that hold a licence from the Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) may make copies of British Psychological Society published material under the terms of their licence. Go to the CLA website for more details.

Where the Society publishes material in which it does not own copyright, it is published with permission from the copyright owner. In these cases the Society cannot grant permissions to copy material to third parties, who must seek permission directly from the original copyright owner.
