Electricity and other energy prices are obviously a different case, for one thing because the grid itself is a natural monopoly, and for the other availability of electricity is far more of a necessity than any particular commercial entertainment.
I thought at least SOME level of information was something we as consumers were entitled to.
It does not therefore follow that customers are entitled to
any piece of information you might set forward.
For example, customers certainly are not "entitled" to have Crunchyroll specify why the licensor of a work refused to grant the rights for some particular country.
Good thing, too, since those in that region who
do enjoy the material that they
do have access to would curse anybody who successfully imposed that requirement. After all, it would mean no licensor would enter into negotiations with Crunchyroll if they had an interest in having any details of their licensing agreements to remain private, and Crunchyroll would be most likely to be locked out of the series that are encountering the most interest from home video distributors and various broadcast channels.
